Deanna Najera, P.A., (Carroll Hospital Emergency Department) Speaks at National Conference

Deanna Bridge Najera, MPAS, MS, PA-C, NCC, a PA at Carroll Hospital Emergency Department, recently gave two presentations at the American Academy of PAs national conference entitled “Personality Disorders Primer: What do I do with people who are always mad, bad or sad?” and “Contraceptive Update: Don’t I need to bleed?”. She also co-presented a third lecture about the new Mental Health First Aid initiative from the PA Foundation with Jacqueline Spiegel. 

After her presentations, PA Najera was one of the four Maryland representatives in the AAPA House of Delegates. Simultaneously, she represented resolutions that were the product of the work of the AAPA Commission on the Health of the Public, which she has chaired for the last two years.
