Donald Taylor, M.D. named an EMA Partner

EMA is proud to announce that Donald Taylor, M.D. has been named an EMA Partner.

Dr. Taylor currently serves as an attending physician in the Emergency Department at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia.  Dr. Taylor initially joined Alexandria-Springfield Emergency Physicians at Inova Alexandria in 2013 and then subsequently transferred to EMA at Virginia Hospital Center help with administrative duties there.   

Dr. Taylor received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999.  He completed a Transitional Internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.  From 2000 – 2004, Dr. Taylor served as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Navy.  As a Flight Surgeon, Dr. Taylor was recognized as the U.S. Naval AirForces Atlantic Fleet Operational Flight Surgeon of the Year 2002, amongst other recognitions.   Dr. Taylor then completed his Emergency Medicine Residency program at Emory University School of Medicine in 2007.  Upon completing his residency, Dr. Taylor served as an attending physician at Memorial Health University Medical Center from 2007 to 2013.  During that time he also served as the ED Education Director from 2010-2012.
